I was pulled toward painting this particular image of the Kotel at Sunset because the colors were so vivid and absolutely magnificent! I also prayed for 40 days at the Kotel and would usually go during this time of the day. It brings back great memories..

It was created using a limited color palette from Daniel Smith extra fine watercolors, as was the entire collection.
